About SMECZ
A membership-based organisation working with Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in Zimbabwe.
Who we are
SMECZ works with micro, small and medium enterprises across all ten provinces of the Republic of Zimbabwe. Our regional managers and cluster leaders operate countrywide, so support reaches business owners where they trade rather than only in the capital.
What we do
We help entrepreneurs strengthen business structures, improve financial readiness, access appropriate funding solutions, reduce risk and unlock growth opportunities. Whether a business is starting out or looking to expand, we walk the journey with them — from idea to impact.
Our mandate
Through initiatives such as the Business Development Service Providers (BDSP) network, SMECZ works to strengthen national capacities for MSME resilience and to accelerate implementation of the 2030 Agenda in Zimbabwe. By equipping MSMEs with essential business development services and easing the way business is done, we support inclusive and sustained economic growth.
Our nationwide network
